Trek C – Trekking in the Anti-Atlas Mountains from Agadir
Highlights
Ascention to the summit of the Timzguidiwine Mountain
Day one – Agadir to Telmsene
Morning transfer to Telmsene situated on a mountain crest at an altitude
of 1820m, commanding magnificent views of the Atlas Mountains and the
EL Krest Mountain.
Descend on winding paths between the cliffs to the villages of Anamar
and Magoust and through the valley of Isli arriving after 5 hours of
walking at the village of Ait Iften ( 1400m) in the foothills of the
El Kest Mountain where camp is set for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day two – Ait Iften to Tagdiche
Full day of tekking (7 hours) ascending to the summit of Timzguidiwine
(2373m) and experience fantastic panoramic views of mountains and valleys
in all directions including the Sousse plain, the High Atlas and the
region of Tafraout. Descend to the village of Tagdichte where camp is
set for dinner and overnight accommodation.
(It is possible to arrange a less strenuous routing than reaching the
summit)
Day three – Tagdichte to Tazga to Tafraoute to Agadir
4 hours of walking through the village of Tmaloukt to Tazga where
a vehicle is waiting. On to Tafraout for a visit to see the magnificent
landscape including the Painted Boulders and the village of Aguerd n’Ouzrou.
Return transfer to Agadir.
Grade Easy but the ascention to Timzguidiwine is moderate
