Trek D- Kaids Trek in the Imouzzer Mountains from Agadir

Highlights

• A nights accommodation in a Kasbah

Day one – Agadir to Immouzzer to Talmeste to Immouzer.

• Morning transfer from Agadir along the Paradise Valley and through winding mountain roads to Imouzzer. Full day trek through the magnificent mountain landscapes to the Talmeste village for a picnic lunch before returning to Imouzzer for dinner and overnight accommodation at the Hotel Les Cascades.

Day two – Imouzzer to Tiskijji

• Full day trekking through magnificent gorges and valleys with age old villages clinging to the mountainside. A picnic lunch en route before continuing through canyons on mule tracks taking in the ‘hanging’ palm groves to Tiskijji. Here the village chief will offer dinner and overnight accommodation in his Kasbah.

Day three- Tiskijji to Tamarout to Immouzer.

• Leisurely walk in the splendid palm grove surrounding Tisijji followed by lunch and afternoon trekking through more of the magnificent mountain landscapes following the Tidili pass to the village of Taramout with its man made oasis of olives, figs, corn, barley and almonds. Continuation to the ‘Bridal Veil’, a series of beautiful waterfalls and return to Imouzzer for dinner and overnight accommodation at the Hotel Les Cascades.

Day four – Imouzzer to The Citadel to Imouzzer to Agadir.

• Leisurely morning to relax around the hotel pool followed by lunch.
• Afternoon short trek to the former French Foreign Legion fortress known as ‘The Citadel’ which commands breathtaking views over the countryside. Gentle trek back to Imouzzer for the return transfer to Agadir.
