La Bergerie - High Atlas Mountains

La Bergerie is a charming 'country inn' with overtones of La Belle France, in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Set in sprawling grounds with large attractive terraced gardens, the country hotel is an ideal place to unwind. In winter the snow capped Atlas make a dramatic backdrop, whilst in spring the valley is carpeted in red poppies and the almond blossom.

Bedrooms are a mix of simple yet comfortable ensuite rooms with private terraces, and newer suites and bungalows by the pool: all decorated in a relaxed Moroccan style and built using traditional materials. Open wood fires warm the rooms in winter.

The chef offers a varied selection of traditional Moroccan and French cuisine in the rustic dining room.

For relaxation there is an excellent swimming pool with amazing views of the sunsets. There is also a bar and billiards room. Walking is a favourite pastime in the area and short or long walks can be arranged – from a village walk to a strenuous trek to Mount Toubkal. Mule treks to local villages are very popular.
