Day 1: To Marrakech
Direct flight from London to Marrakech. Overnight Jardin De La Medina
Day 2: To Zagora
Drive by 4x4 through the stunning Draa valley with its soothing palm fringed oasis and dramatic ochre Kasbahs, standing, as silent sentinels over the valley below. Zagora was, and still is, a starting point for caravans through the central Saharan area and to Timbuktu. Watch out for the blue robed Taureg, the ‘merchants’ of the desert Two nights Riad Lamane.
Day 3: Desert camp
Morning at leisure to relax and explore the area. Late afternoon experience the thrill of camel riding in the desert to watch the sunset bathe the unforgiving landscape in a soft glow.
Day 4: To Tata 4x4 drive via Foum Zguid
Drive across the barren wilderness to Tata. The air is hot and arid and the landscape reflects the harshness of the climate – yet there is amazing beauty in this wild county. Overnight stay at Dar Infiane
Day 5: To Sidi Ifni via Anti Atlas
Drive to Sidi Ifni via the Anti Atlas Mountains covered with drifts of rosemary and thyme. It’s a relief to feel the cool breezes of the Atlantic Ocean. A relaxed Spanish atmosphere – highlighted by some interesting Art Deco architecture, gives a slightly faded cosmopolitan feel to the town. Two night stay at Fort Bou Jerif
Day 6: Day at leisure
For the energetic para gliding and surfing are becoming popular. Walking along the old esplanade or just sitting and watching the world go by is a favourite pastime in this coastal backwater.
Day 7: To Tiznit
We head a little further north to the town of Tiznit, Famous for its silver bazaar and its rich Berber influences. You have a 2-night stay at the Hotel Idou Tiznit

You have a day a leisure to enjoy the sights of the town
Day 9: To Essaouira
Essaouria, on the Atlantic is ideal for a few days of relaxing. There are miles of beaches to walk, windsurf or simply sunbathe! Two nights Villa de L`O
Day 10: At leisure
‘Café society’ is a way of life here – everybody does it - just sitting in a fashionable café, sipping coffee, eating delicious pastries and watching the ‘jet set’ walk by! Locally made wood carvings and furniture are excellent buys as are leather goods and brassware.
Day 11: To Marrakech – Bab Ourika
Drive to Bab Ourika a mere 45 minutes away from Marrakech. The eco friendly Bab Ourika hotel, built in the style of an ancient Kasbah, is the place to enjoy the beautiful countryside just inland from the coast, with stunning views over the Ourika Valley and Atlas Mountains. Day 12: At leisure
Wander the local countryside; perhaps visit a local saffron farm or fragrant organic herb garden producing essential oils. On Monday’s a Berber market at Tnine Ourika is worth a visit.
Day 13: To Marrakech
Drive to Marrakech and relax for the afternoon in the hotel, or maybe start exploring this charismatic city with its fragrant gardens including the Majorelle, privately owned by Yves St. Laurent.

Day 14: Afternoon City tour
Morning at leisure before an afternoon City tour. Highlights will include the beautiful Medina, the famous Koutoubia Minaret, considered one of the supreme examples of Islamic architecture, the Kasbah, the 16th C. Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Mosque. Also visit the Agdal and Menara gardens. Souvenir hunt in the Jemaa El Fna Square with its myriad of shops
Day 15: To Airport
Transfer to the airport for return direct flight to London
