Day 1: To Casablanca
Fly direct from London to Casablanca.  Transfer and overnights at the Kenzi Tower

Day 2: To Rabat afternoon City tour
Rabat is the current capital of Morocco and has many secret corners to explore.  The ancient Kasbah overlooking the sea is a delight to wander.  The main sights of the City tour are: the Royal Palace, (Mechouar), the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Day 3: To Fez via Volubilis and Holy city of Moulay Idriss
Drive to Fez via Volubilis with its well preserved Roman ruins including amazing mosaics, the public baths, forum, capitol and basilica. En route drive through the Holy city of Moulay Idriss. The shrine to Moulay Idriss is a major pilgrimage destination. Three nights Riad Fez.

Day 4: Fez city tour
Fez has numerous beautiful buildings and the tour will highlight many including the Medersa, Bou Inania, with its ancient and incredibly ornate courtyard, and the newly opened Belghazi museum, located in a 17th C. riad, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Quaraouine Mosque. However, the main attraction has to be the medina with its narrow shop lined alleys. Remember horses and donkeys have right of way here! 

Day 5: Meknes excursion
Morning at leisure. Afternoon city tour of this smallest but most charming of the 4 Moroccan Imperial cities. The Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk from the El-Hdim Square to numerous souks and the old Medina where you can spend hours haggling for souvenirs. A notable monument in the Medina is the Merdersa Ben Inania - considered one of the most beautiful in Morocco.

Day 6: To Marrakech via Beni Mellal
Drive to Marrakech stopping for lunch in Beni Mellal, one of the main agricultural centres of Morocco. Oranges, Olives and figs are major crops and are sold at irresistibly good prices in local markets!  
Two nights at the Jardin De La Koutabia.

Day 7: Marrakech City tour
Full day city tour to include the Saadian Tombs - the Mausoleum of 66 kings from the Saadian dynasty  - and the Bahia Palace – built by a slave who rose to fortune and power!  See also the Koutoubia Mosque and the magnificent Ibn Youssef Medersa, the largest in Morocco.  Visit of the famous Jamaâ El Fna Square and its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters, finally relaxing in the Menara Garden. Try a corne de gazelle, a tiny croissant shaped pastry, stuffed with ground almonds, nuts and honey from one of the stalls in the souks.

Day 8:  Airport
Transfer to the airport for direct flight to London.
